Meet Mr. Nelson, a highly qualified and dedicated professional in the field of social work. He is currently pursuing a Doctoral of Science in Social Work from the University of Kentucky, specializing in Clinical Direct Practice and Education. Mr. Nelson also holds a Masters of Science in Social Work from the University of Louisville, with specializations in Military and Mental Health, as well as being a Sex Addiction Therapist.
In addition to his studies, Mr. Nelson is actively involved in various professional and community organizations. He currently serves as a Regional Ambassador for the National Association of Social Work Foundation in Southern Indiana, working on the "Connect to End COVID-19" project to promote vaccine confidence among social workers. He is also a Lecture Professor for the Masters Program in Social Work at the University of Kentucky, educating on ethics and professional development. Furthermore, Mr. Nelson is the CEO and Founder of JClinic LLC, providing mediation, Relationship Coach and Evidence-based Clinical therapy services in Corydon, IN, and Clarksville, IN.
Mr. Nelson also holds leadership positions in various organizations, including Vice President of the Board of Directors for Harrison County Community Service and Lead Clinical Social Worker at Senior Care at Harrison County Hospital. He also serves as Lecture Professor for Social Work and Human Services Department at Bluegrass Community and Technological College and has held previous positions as a Clinical ER intake Assessor and Group Therapist at various hospitals and clinics.
